Bathymetric Surveys
Multibeam technology works throught the acquisition of a great amount of geo-referred depth data, allowing the creation of DTMs (Digital Terrain Models).
The following data processing and editing allows a suitable graphical return that best fits the work project (contour lines, shaded relief, 3D visualization of the floor) and of all objects arising from the floor, such as dams, intake towers, piers, jetties..etc.
“All points” view of a submerged rock formation (R2Sonic mod. 2024)

Submerged tree following the flooding of a an artificial reservoir (R2Sonic mod. 2024)

Coloured contour lines of a Single Beam bathymetric survey (Reson Navisound 215)

Multibeam Bathymetric survey on a Blu Nile segment, Ethiopia. Contour lines and shaded relief obtained from DTM.

3D visualization from a different “point of view” of the same river segment.

3D visualization of a part of an artificial reservoir (dam body and relevant side structures), obtained by R2Sonic 2024, Central Zambia.
